Sound-Wave transforms meaningful audio into commissioned sculptural artwork. A voice, a laugh, a promise, a heartbeat, or another moment worth keeping becomes the beginning of a physical piece created specifically for its story and the space it will inhabit.
The artwork should be beautiful even to someone who doesn't know what it represents.
The Concept
The waveform is not simply printed or engraved onto a decorative plaque. The audio becomes the foundation for the physical form itself.
Each Sound-Wave begins with a real recording and is developed individually. Scale, material, illumination, fabrication, installation, and interaction can evolve from the recording, the environment, and the person commissioning the work.
The story leads. The technology follows.
If playback or interactive technology is incorporated into a future commission, it should remain discreet and intentional. The artwork should never require automatic playback or demand the viewer's attention.
